Ordering from the UK? Here's what you need to know.

- ✅ VAT not applied by Mister Tissu : you do not pay Belgian VAT. If it appears by default when you arrive on the site (depending on your IP address or a VPN), it will be automatically deducted at checkout, as soon as you select the United Kingdom as your delivery country. You only pay the UK VAT upon arrival (neutral transaction)
- 🌍 Fabrics of European origin : our products all come from the European Union, which theoretically allows us to benefit from a reduced customs tariff . (But be careful: this exemption is not always guaranteed, some carriers may not apply it correctly.)
- 📦 Shipping : £16 for all orders under £110 — free above that .
- 📩 Processing fee : approximately £5 charged by the carrier (FedEx or Bpost) upon delivery.
Since Brexit, any order delivered to the United Kingdom from the European Union may incur a shipping charge upon arrival. Here's a clear summary to help you plan ahead.
📌 We do not charge Belgian VAT on orders to the UK. Mister Tissu only collects shipping costs. FedEx or Bpost will handle delivery and contact you to settle any VAT, customs, and handling fees.

💬 FedEx or Bpost will send you an email or text message with a secure link to pay these fees. Once payment is validated, the package will be delivered.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I still have to pay VAT on arrival?
Yes. Regardless of the value, UK VAT (20%) is required by UK Customs. FedEx or Bpost collects this tax on behalf of HMRC.
2. Why not include it when I order?
Only UK VAT registered sellers can do this. We don't yet.
3. What if I refuse to pay?
The package is returned to us. Shipping and return costs, as well as the carrier's handling fees, will be deducted from the refund.
